POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I ordered a $400 utensil sterilizer to store service spoons and spatulas between service and they sent me a cereal dispenser. The shipping dept argued with the sales person and refused to believe that they made a mistake.
I sent countless pics of the box, shipping label and wrong product and it's been ore than 3 weeks and I still don't have a resolution or my part.
This company SUCKS BALLS!
I couldn't send my review unless I gave a rating but in my opinion and experience they don't deserve any rating but below 1

Never buy from Katom Restaurant Supply

Ordered an ice maker with an estimated delivery at 7-10 days, showed up damaged in freight. After countless emails, and attempts to talk with someone (no one in charge will accept phone calls), I was ignored for days at a time only to find out it would need to be shipped back to the maufacturer, not Katom, and would not be able to get a refund until the manufacturer sent an Ok for credit. It took 60 days to get the refund, while I wait without an ice maker. It is an easy decision to never order from them again.

Ordered (Order# KT12569890 some…

Ordered (Order# KT12569890 some supplies at the beginning of June 2022, and still haven't received them. Called customer service more than 10 times, talked to Katelynn, Barbara Ext. 3147 who pretended to be supervisor on site, promised to check with her supplier and return with results, but never returned any phone calls. I called her again, and instead of refunding my money back, she pretended to open a case for a lost shipment which was never shipped and will send me an email confirming the case withing 5 minutes but never did. Katom is not an honest company to do business with. Please stay away from them. Send your money somewhere else. You send it to Katom you will get screwed like me. Whoever is in charge of Katom Operation, please do your damned job. Fire all those half ass employees who made your company look bad and give you bad reputation.

I've placed an order for supplies at beginning of June 2022 and still haven't received anything yet. I've called and talked to Katelynn and Barbara Ext. 3147 several times and they promised to call back but never did. Barbara promised to either call back or email me back for solution but never did. Katom is a dishonest company to do business with because they allowed their employees to scam others for money by pretending to be a supplier but in reality it's just a big SCAMMER.

The rudest andvworst customer service

I ordered a fridge and the fridge left north Carolina to come to Florida. I was tod I should get my fridge between 5 and 5 days no going on third week I b been calling to check where's my fridge and they been telling me it's on the way, I checked back with the tracking number it it shows that it's in California, I called the customer service and I told them about it, the lady on the phone she said you will get it soon, it was just a simple mistake, I asked her when can I expect my fridge to arrive, her response was when you get it, I said in that case I like to cancel my order and she replied that I. Ant cancel my order becouse it's on the way, I told her that I can't wait that long she said o well. Dont get stuck with this company as I did. By the way I am getingvmy money back becouse I never received any product.

1) Place an order for 24 items
2) get delivered 6 items
3) Call sales rep; the other 18 are out of stock and on backorder
4) sales rep finds replacement items and offers to swap out
5) wait for days, no words, no items, nothing
6) call the sales rep;. On KaTom's website they accept Amazon Pay (great) but KaTom can't modify their order with this Payment Type (a warning would have been nice)
7) sales rep; cancels the order and creates a new order for replacement items plus Shipping Cost again
8) manager refuses to waive the shipping cost...

I am a negative net promotor... Their website doesn't know their inventory stock, their payment process type is compatible with their business process, and they expect the customer to pay for their mistake costing us Time and Money.

Really bad first experience. Never again...

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. I’ve had 2 issues with them. One with a return that took 3 months to settle and that’s because I kept emailing and calling several times. Then they refund the wrong order to my loan so I’m still trying to settle that issue. They always say they’ll give me a call back and never do. I have to call them once again. Save yourself the hassle and time.

Run away fast...

We order a 36x60 replacement shelf for a table we had. We received the shelf. It didn't fit.
We ask to get a shelf that fit. Katie Whittaker sent us an email asking to take pictures and measure. We sent the pictures and measurements. They now have ghosted us. No responses. No calls.

We disputed the credit card charge with our bank so they would respond. Instead of responding, they are trying to fight with us on whether the charge is valid.

This just proves the dysfunction of the middlemen web suppliers like this company. They are only interested in collecting $. If there is a problem, they just want the customer to go away. But from a store in your community - Restaurant supply or Chefs Toys. Don't enable the flight by night middlemen.

False, they emailed me promptly. I do not write reviews but because of the people on here misrepresenting the company I almost missed out on a great price with free shipping. The experience was great from start to finish. Why is every company on this site so negative
